Welcome Message

My heartfelt congratulations to the Hong Kong 2020 International Urban Forestry Conference, the first-ever international conference on urban forestry organised by the Development Bureau of the HKSAR Government.

The Conference aims at providing a platform for renowned international experts, decision-makers, academics and industry professionals to share experiences and best practices on urban forestry management and enhance the livability and resilience of our cities.

We are grateful to experts from around the world for their invaluable contributions to this meaningful event. Government officials, professionals, academics and practitioners in arboriculture, urban forestry and related fields will share with us their insights and latest research findings on important topics, such as city greening, resilient landscaping and tree care in constrained environment. The presentations and discussions will provide a great opportunity for all of us to appreciate the meticulous planning and execution that contribute to sustainable urban greening in high-density cities.

We look forward to your participation in the Conference.
