(Seasonal Highlights) Hong Kong Velodrome Park

The Hong Kong Velodrome Park is located in Tseung Kwan O adjacent to the Hong Kong Velodrome. Covering an area of around 5.3 hectares, the park accommodates a sprawling lawn, a skatepark and artificial lakes. Every Spring, cherry blossoms turn the park into a sea of white and pink flowers.

The Artificial Lake at the frontyard mirrors the clear and blue sky onto the ground.
The curvy boundary of the Artificial Lake extends upon the oval shaped dome and forms meandering pathways for visitors to explore the park.
The wide and flat pavement welcomes different users to go around the park and appreciate the beautiful greenery and waterscape.
The reflection of sky on the Artificial Lake extends the vastness and depth of the landscape and brings in dabs of bright blue and white to the ground level during sunny days.

The Skatepark, situated in the dynamic zone, has a whole assortment of smoothly curved bowls, pipes and ramps that are not only suitable for skating, but also different extreme sports.

There is plenty of seating area in the park which provides ample shade and shelter in the open and expansive landscape.
Wide footpaths provide abundant space for joggers jogging through green open spaces.
A variety of play equipment is also provided at the Children’s Play Area nearby to the Central Lawn.
The planting slope in front of the Velodrome is embroidered with flowers and shrubs planted and trimmed into the shape of the park’s logo.
The planting bed brightens up the open area with colourful blooming flowers.
Blooming flowers at the sloped planting beds are a popular photography spot in the park.
Every winter, the Prunus trees produces captivating flowers which are well-loved by photo enthusiasts and flower lovers.
