(Seasonal Highlights) Tsing Yi Park

Covering an area of around 7 hectares, Tsing Yi Park offers a quiet and pleasant environment with tree-shaded walkways and ornamental Lakes. Tsing Yi Park boasts various pavilions designed in a European style with red brick roofs and white classical balustrades. The autumn foliage of the Bald Cypress trees (Taxodium distichum) and Sweet Gum trees (Liquidambar formosana) provide unique photographic opportunities and attracts many visitors to the park during the Autumn season.

Seats and shelters under the trees allow visitors to rest whilst enjoying the views of the trees.
The park takes advantage of the natural contours of the hilly ground.
The two large <i>Ficus Microcarpa</i> located near the entrance of the Park (gate no.8) are both listed OVTs (Old and Valuable Trees) and are a precursor of the extensive planting in the park.
The park has some native Chinese Banyan trees with large beautiful canopies that help to screen the nearby skyrise residential buildings.
