Nurturing Young Talents

Hong Kong 2022 International Urban Forestry Conference not only provides a platform for knowledge exchange to stakeholders of the industries related to urban forestry but also offers an opportunity to local students of Landscape Architecture and Arboriculture to share their work to conference registrants around the globe.

Landscape Architecture

Students of Landscape Architecture from three local post-secondary institutes were gathered to re-think the design of some present urban open spaces for enhancement of the health and well-being of residents as well as the city as a whole. You may also find the making-of video to share the passion and efforts of our future professionals.

Arboriculture

Students of Arboriculture from two local post-secondary institutes, in the meantime, brought us their findings of the interactions of urban trees and our environment. You may find them enlightening for new ideas to improve the well-being of urban trees, which also enhance the well-being of society at large.

Delightful Urban Greens

HGreen landscape is an important means in improving our urban environment and enhance the quality of our lives. The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is striving to uplift the quality of the local living environment through active planting, proper maintenance and preservation of trees together with other vegetation. The target is to bring about noticeable improvements in urban greenery, to enhance existing greened areas, and to enhance opportunities of quality greening during the planning and development of public works projects. Join the residents in the videos below to enjoy an exciting day out and relish the beauty of our lush urban oasis.
